Circuit Modelling of Broadband Antenna Using Vector Fitting and Foster Form Approaches for IoT Applications

Computation of the broadband antenna impedance behavior requires wideband lumped equivalent circuit. This work aims to provide a comprehensive study circuit models over broad frequency ranges for Internet Things (IoT) applications using multiple approaches. The first approach is Foster approximation, which based on antenna-simulated scattering parameters and data. second concerns vector-fitting fitting impedance/admittance studied modeled radiating element’s geometry multifractal slots, in addition DGS (Defected Ground Plane) effects. Applying these techniques, circuits have been computed are good agreement with measurement These could be useful enhancement performance its systematic design as well offering advantage saving computation time full-wave simulations facilitating solution problems that both an electromagnetic part part. For further analysis, Gaussian pulse has generated drive time-domain analysis current power response waveforms under load.
